Football Hub, represented by 1+1 Internet LLC, has received a lawsuit "On refutation of inaccurate information" from the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko!
The head of the UAF expressed claims to the material "Corruption champion. All about the embezzlement of football money in Andriy Pavelko's UAF", which lists all the criminal cases being investigated by the National Police, the State Bureau of Investigation and the NABU on the facts of illegal activities of Andriy Pavelko's team in the UAF. The article contains the numbers of each case, when and by whom the case was initiated, the essence of the case and other official information(available here).
Football Hub's editorial team assumes that such a complete and clear list of all cases could have really caused Andriy Pavelko's dissatisfaction, as it demonstrates the level of corruption in the UAF in a comprehensive and detailed manner. We regard this step by the head of the UAF as direct and immediate pressure on freedom of speech, on the media and on specific journalists (previously, Konstantin Andriyuk received a similar lawsuit) who expose the corrupt activities of the UAF and its representatives.
And most importantly, in this way, Andriy Pavelko and his team are trying to whitewash themselves and shape their image as honest, fair and noble functionaries who are being slandered.
It seems that the UAF President believes that the criminal cases involving him and his team, as well as the preventive measures imposed by the court, are all the work of the media.
In response, we declare that no lawsuits will stop the Football Hub editorial team in its mission to provide honest and truthful information and cover the state of affairs in Ukrainian football, even if the country's football leadership does not like it.
