Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has expressed his opinion on former player Oleksandr Zinchenko, who now plays for Arsenal.

What I liked about Oleksandr was his reaction to our decision to change his position on the pitch: 'I will fight for my position'. I said: "Alex, it's difficult. I have a lot of players in your position at number 10", but he said: "No, I will play here".
Zinchenko trained well, he never had a bad facial expression, always a good demeanour. He spent extra time in the gym. He took the opportunity to play in the starting line-up as if it was his last chance in life. That means he is a good player and has a good mindset.
Mikel Arteta knows him very well because they worked together. I am happy for him. Everything is going well," Guardiola said in a comment to Manchester City's official website.
It will be recalled that Arsenal will play Manchester City in the English league tonight. The match kicks off at 21:30 Kyiv time.
