Today has given the world several famous people who have closely linked their lives with football:
Serhiy Fyodorov (1975) is a former Ukrainian footballer. He played as a defender. Brought up in Kyiv "Dynamo". Most of his career spent in the camp of the "white-blues". He also played for the teams: CSKA (Kyiv) and Chornomorets (Odessa). In the national team of Ukraine played 29 games (scored 1 goal), in youth - 17 games. At present he is an assistant of head coach of Dynamo U-19.
Claude Makelele (1973) - former French footballer of Zairean origin. He is known for his performances for Real Madrid, Chelsea of London and French PSG. After his playing career Claude stayed at the Parisian club where he worked as an assistant coach.
Roberto Baggio (1967) is a former Italian footballer. Played as a defensive lineman and attacking midfielder. World and European player of 1993, winner of UEFA Cup 1992/93, silver medalist of the 1994 World Cup, bronze medalist of the 1990 World Cup, Italy champion in the seasons 1994/95 and 1995/96, winner of the Italian Cup 1994/95. The only Italian footballer to score goals in three World Cups.
Bobby Robson (1933-2009) was a former English footballer and coach. During his 20-year professional career Robson played as a striker for just 3 clubs: Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Canadian Vancouver Royals. Played 20 games for England, scored 4 goals in them; took part in the World Cup in 1958 and 1962.
After his career as a footballer became a famous coach. After 13 years with Ipswich, he took over England in 1982 and coached them to the 1986 and 1990 World Cups as well as the 1988 European Championship. During 1990s, in spite of health problems (in 1991 doctors found out Robson had cancer), he successfully managed various European clubs, won Dutch and Portuguese championships, won 1996/97 Cup Winners' Cup with Barcelona. Robson's last club was Newcastle United, whom he left in 2004.
Vladimir Levchenko (1944-2006) was a former Soviet defender. He spent his entire football career with one club, Dynamo Kyiv, where he won the USSR Championship thrice and the USSR Cup twice. He played three games for the USSR national team, and was a member of the 1968 Euro.
On May 13, 1971, while driving the car he got into accident in Kyiv, at the intersection of Bogdanovsky Lane and Vozdukhoflotsky Prospekt. He was seriously injured and survived clinical death. He survived but after the accident he was forced to end his playing career and become a regular construction worker.
