Yuriy Vernidub, the head coach of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, talks about combining his work in football with service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which he joined from the first days of the Russian attack on Ukraine.
Yuri Vernidub“Thank God, everyone is alive and well, and so are my relatives. Since June, as you know, I have been working as the head coach of Kryvbas. But I am still a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, therefore, if necessary, I perform far from coaching duties.
Last year, I was transferred to a security company, so, without going into details, from time to time I need to patrol Kyiv and escort cargo with humanitarian aid, ”said Vernydub.
