The Tribuna Heroiv Charitable Foundation, created by Ukrainian ultras to provide financial support to the families of football fans who died in the war, has published an activity report for 6 months (from August 2022 to January 2023).
Denys ZubriychukAs of February 1, 2023, 148 football fans from different regions of the country gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine. In recent months, the greatest losses have been experienced by the fan movements of "Dynamo" and "Kryvbasa". Most of the dead went to their last battle in the vicinity of Bakhmut and other settlements of Donetsk region.
Football players, fans and their families, clubs, agents, officials, journalists, UAF, coaches and other concerned citizens joined the fund-raising to help the families of the deceased fans.
In total, over 10 million hryvnias were collected during this time.
