Control match

"DYNAMO» (Kyiv, Ukraine)"RIGA» (Latvia) — 1:1 (0:0)
Goal:
Tsarenko (79) - Joich (54).

"Dynamo": Nescheret — Vivcharenko (Dubinchak, 46), Bol (Dyachuk, 80), Sirota, Malysh (Karavaev, 46) — Andrievsky, Yatsyk (Garmash, 58), Tsarenko, Perris (Benito, 58), Voloshyn — Supryaga (Vanat, 58).

"Riga" (starting lineup): Purins, Ngom, Chernomordiys, Babec, Talla, Jurkovskis, Aurelio, Joic, Nyang, Soysalo, Ramirez.

The teams started the match quite briskly, exchanging several attacks. Still, the players of "Riga" entered the game a little better and "checked" Nescheret's vigilance several times already in the starting minutes. Dynamo, in turn, responded to the opponent closer to the middle of the first half, when Yatsik and Tsarenko broke through the Latvians' goal. However, our footballers lacked the precision to call these shots dangerous.

In the future, it was the players of "Riga" who looked sharper in attack, surpassing Kyiv even in terms of hitting statistics. The most dangerous moment near the goal of the "white and blue" nominal visitors was created a few minutes before the end of the first half of the game. After a rapid attack from the left flank and a shot from ten meters, "Dynamo" saved Sirot, who kicked the ball almost from the goal line.

After the break, the Latvian club continued to play with the first number. And if at first the Dynamo team was lucky after a shot by Aurelio, who could have scored from the penalty line with a long shot, then the team from Riga managed to open the score in the match. After a cross from the right wing, Serbian forward Joic won the fight on the second floor from the Dynamo defenders and successfully headed into the far corner of the goal. 0:1. The conceded goal forced Lucescu to make a series of substitutions to revive the team's attacking play. Already in a few minutes, it was noticeable how the players of "Riga" pressed against their own goal, because the Kyiv players noticeably increased their speed.

In the 70th minute, our team should have equalized the score, but after Vanat's shot, the ball was knocked out from the goal line by the visitors' defender. Almost immediately, the people of Riga answered with their two points from the standards, but even here the football fortune was on the side of the "white and blue". And in the 79th minute, Lucescu's team still managed to stand out: Tsarenko, after playing with Garmash near the opponent's penalty area, punched clearly into the far lower corner of the Riga goal - 1:1. In the remaining time, Dynamo tried to win, but the audience did not see more scored goals in this confrontation. The result is a battle draw.

As a reminder, Dynamo will play its next match at the training camp in Turkey on Thursday, February 23. The opponent of Mircea Lucescu's team will be Valmiera. The meeting starts at 16:00 Kyiv time.

Let's add that this sparring will be the final one for the "white and blue" at the meeting in Turkey. Already on March 4, the Dynamo team will face Ingulets in the Ukrainian championship match.
