On Thursday, February 23, Dynamo Kyiv played another friendly at the offseason training camp in Turkey. The opponent of Mircea Lucescu's team was a representative of the Latvian championship, Auda.
Control match
"DYNAMO VS." (Kyiv, Ukraine) - "AUDA" (Kekava, Latvia) - 3:0 (0:0)
Goals.: Kabaev (54), Karavaev (56), Vanat (67).
"Dynamo": Neshcheret (Morgun, 80) - Karavaev (Gusev, 80), Popov (Sirota, 60), Dyachuk (Burda, 69), Dubinchak (Vivcharenko, 46) - Sydorchuk, Andrievsky (Tsarenko, 46), Perris (Kabaev, 46), Garmash, Voloshin (Benito, 67) - Vanat.
"Auda" (starting lineup): Otsols - Douglas, Isaevs, Mikulic, Brettschneider - Ulimbavsevs, Semenovs - Karamoko, Savelievs, Piteo - Resende.
The match began with Dynamo's positional attacks, but it was difficult to call them dangerous, as the Audi defenders were quite skillful in blocking all free zones. That's why Dynamo switched to long shots at the first opportunity, and almost immediately could have opened the scoring. Andrievsky scored from the penalty line, but the ball somehow exchanged hands with the opponent's goal frame.
Interestingly, the Latvian club also decided not to sit in defense for a long time, relying on quick counterattacks and standard positions. And it was after a corner kick that Audi had its best moment in the first half: the visitors' midfielder shot from the goal line, but the ball flew over the goal. This moment only once again showed that there are enough problems in the defense of the "white and blues"
Dynamo continued to control the course of the match, but for some reason, the players of "Audi" resorted to gross violations that could lead to serious injuries to Dynamo players. In the first half alone, the referee showed three yellow cards and one red card to the Latvian club. It's good that Dubinchak and the other guys were able to continue the match.
After the break, Lucescu's wards, having made a series of substitutions, only added speed. And in the 54th minute, they predictably managed to take the lead: Vladyslav Kabaev decided to shoot from long range - right into the bottom corner of the goal - and it was a 1-0 victory. 1:0. Then it got worse. As soon as the Audi players played the ball from the center of the field, Kyiv managed to score again: after the Karavayev - Garmash combination, Oleksandr also scored in the corner of the goal - 2:0. 2:0. The guests tried to respond with a goal of their own, but instead got the third goal: Vanat, having beaten two defenders near the opponent's penalty area, sent the ball past the Audi goalkeeper - 3:0. 3:0. All questions about the winner of the match were removed.
As a result, Dynamo's victory in the next control match was confident and natural.
It will be recalled that Dynamo will play its next match at the training camp in Turkey on Sunday, February 26. The opponent of Mircea Lucescu's team will also be a representative of the Latvian championship, Valmiera.
