"Napoli to offer Spalletti new contract with improved terms

Napoli management plans to continue cooperation with head coach Luciano Spalletti, Il Mattino reports.

The club owners will activate the option to extend the contract with the Italian until 2024. The 63-year-old's salary will increase to 2.7 million euros. The Neapolitan bosses also plan to meet with the coach and discuss the possibility of signing a long-term contract.

After 23 rounds of the Italian championship, Napoli are leading the standings, 15 points ahead of their nearest pursuer.
