"I was in Kiev. It was a very difficult moment. A very sad moment in my life and for my work. And now a year has passed and the situation has not changed. The day before the war we were training, just having a good time together with the players. And the next day we were sitting in a hotel under fire.

I watch the news from Ukraine every day, and it didn't end. I communicate with people who work at Shakhtar, but it's not easy when you live in another country. I used to say more than once that in the future I should go back to Ukraine and finish the job, because I lost the team and it was very difficult to accept this situation," De Dzerby said in an interview with Sky Sports.
