Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik, who moved from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea London last winter transfer window, could end up at Real Madrid, DefensaCentral reports.
According to the source, the management of the "Royal Club" absolutely realistically considered the option of signing the Ukrainian and was ready to enter into negotiations with Shakhtar on his transfer. But it did not come to concrete steps in this direction: the Real board of directors flatly refused to sign Mudryk after finding out that the Donetsk side want to receive EUR 100 million for their midfielder.
It should be recalled that Real Madrid already have one Ukrainian international - goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
