At yesterday's The Best FIFA ceremony in Paris to determine the best in professional soccer for 2022, the winner of the Pushkasz Award for the best goal of the year was also named.

Marcin Oleksi with the 2022 Best Goal Award

This award went to Polish footballer Marcin Oleksi of Warta Poznań, who has an amputated left leg. In June, despite his disability, he contrived to send the ball into the net with a drop kick. This goal was recognized by FIFA as the best goal of 2022.
