After the match, the BBC reported a comical story: Newcastle fan Chris Cook believed in his team's victory so much that he decided to get a tattoo in honor of the club's victory in the EFL Cup.

Now Cook has a tattoo on his leg with the words "Tell me ma me ma, NUFC Cup winners" and the date of the final - February 26, 2023.

"I asked the girl who does the tattoos if she could tattoo me on my leg about winning the cup. I think she thought it was a bad idea, but I did it anyway. My mom's still a little bit mad, my grandma is just pissed, and all my friends think it's funny," Cook said.
