Renowned Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov shared his forecast for the match of the 1/2 finals of the Copa del Rey Real - Barcelona, which will be held tonight in the Spanish capital.
"The third El Classico of the season (two more are waiting - aren't you sick of it?!) is the ida (first match) of the Spanish Cup semifinals. The answer will take place at the Camp Nou as early as April 5, and this complicates the perception of what is happening, but at the same time poses certain challenges to the opponent. Given the staffing difficulties and the dismal state of Barcelona (the loss from the Europa League to the United Kingdom, the defeat to Almeria in the championship), Real Madrid need to create a reserve before the second match. The reasons are obvious:
- Pedri, Dembele and Lewandowski can and must return to action in time for the Vuelta;
- The chances of winning the championship are paltry, despite the Catalans' misfiring in the last round;
- There is no Barcelona in the Champions League and European competitions in general, and Real Madrid is still under pressure;
- In general, where else but in the Cup to flick the eternal rival on the nose, slightly happy about the recent humiliation in the Super Cup and the more than likely failure in the Primera?
"Real" is also not in optimal condition - they could not beat "Atletico", but on "Barça" madridistov surely will set up no worse than the "Liverpool" torn to pieces by them!
Coffey on the result: 1.98 - 3.65 - 4.05.
My bet: Real Madrid win and TV 2.5 for 2.97," says Frankov.
