Firmino decided to leave Liverpool in the summer

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has no plans to extend his contract with the Merseyside club, Sport1.de reports.

The 31-year-old footballer informed head coach Jurgen Klopp about his decision to leave the club after the contract expires. The Brazilian will leave Anfield in the summer as a free agent.

Firmino has been playing for Liverpool since 2015. This season, the forward has played 25 matches in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
