Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team forward Roman Zozulya has spoken out about the death of Dmytro Kotsyubaylo, a commander of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
"Today, a true son of Ukraine was killed in the battle for Bakhmut.
Da Vinci. Dmytro Kotsyubaylo. A true warrior and hero. He was the first volunteer to receive the highest honor in his lifetime - the Hero of Ukraine.
It is a pity that we are losing such people in this war... I'm glad that our team helped their unit even a little bit not so long ago.
May you rest in peace!
We will never forget and never forgive. Honor," Zozulya wrote in his telegram channel.
