Volodymyr Sharan, the mentor of Minaya, supported our military and recalled the horrific incident with the cold-blooded shooting of our prisoner of war, who, standing in front of the enemy, said: "Glory to Ukraine!".
- What I saw was a nightmare. It is very hard to watch. A man was shot for saying "Glory to Ukraine". This is a pain for every Ukrainian. Our military will take revenge. This video should remain in the mind of every Ukrainian. We must remember all the bloody crimes of the Russians. They are real racists. They must be destroyed and our military is doing it every day. Our task is to help as much as we can. Donate to the army, support volunteers, and do not keep silent about the enemy's war crimes. Each of us must understand this. Russia wants to destroy the Ukrainian people just like they executed our military.
- There is no devastation after such videos?
- Everyone takes it in their own way, but it is definitely hard. The day before I saw another video where our guys were shot by a racist who came from the rear. He must have been wearing our uniform, because the guys were shouting that they were ours, but they were just killed in cold blood. It is very difficult to watch such videos. It is quite difficult to move away from what you see.
The videos of massive shelling of our homes are also horrifying. When people are just sleeping in their apartments at night and die after rockets hit a residential building. I am sincerely grateful to all the employees of the State Emergency Service who are the first to come to the rescue and get our people out of the rubble. They are definitely heroes. We are all grateful for their hard work.
We all realized a long time ago that the most important thing now is victory and peace in Ukraine. Football fades into the background, to put it mildly. You try to set yourself up for the game, but you always keep the war in mind. We still have to fulfill our duties - to go out on the field for the sake of people who watch football and support our club.
