After some of the return matches of the Champions League 1/8 finals took place last Tuesday and Wednesday, the names of four of the eight participants in this stage of the tournament have been determined.
The teams that have already advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League are:
"Bayern" (Munich, Germany)
"Benfica (Lisbon, Portugal)
"AC Milan (Italy)
"Chelsea (London, England)
Four more quarterfinal bids will be decided in next week's knockout rounds of the 1/8 finals:
"Manchester City vs. Manchester City v Leipzig (1-1 in the first leg)
"Porto vs. (first leg - 0-1)
"Real Madrid vs Liverpool (first leg - 5:2)
"Napoli vs Eintracht (first leg - 2:0)
We add that the draw for the Champions League quarterfinals will take place on March 17 and will be completely "blind" - there are no seeding or bans from crossing any teams with each other.
