Newcastle striker Callum Wilson has publicly apologized to Liverpool for his daring comments a month ago, the player said in his podcast The Footballer's Football.
Last month, after Newcastle's defeat by Liverpool, Magpies striker Callum Wilson categorically rejected Liverpool from the list of contenders for the top 4.
"I said at the time that Liverpool were not back yet, and I have to apologize for those words. They are back and they did it too loudly. Whatever I say now, the universe will do the opposite," said Callum Wilson.
It will be recalled that after 26 rounds, Liverpool is in fifth place, with Jurgen Klopp's side three points behind the fourth place.
