Lech Poznań and Djurgardens IF met in an exciting UEFA Europa League match at the Poznań stadium. The atmosphere was tense, and both teams took the field in full force. In the first half Lech Poznań took the lead in the 39th minute when A. Milicz scored a superb goal. Djurgardens IF continued to attack, but could not break through the defense of Lech Poznan. In the second half Djurgardens IF received two yellow cards for K. Moros and Lech Poznan received yellow cards for R. Murawski and M. Ishak. Then both teams made substitutions: B. Sabowicz replaced H. Finndell for Djurgardens IF in the 69th minute and A. Souza replaced A. Ba Lua for Lech Poznan in the 71st minute.
Lech Poznan then made two more substitutions: F. Szymczak replaced F. Marczywinski in the 76th minute, and Djurgardens IF released J. Lofgren instead of K. Moros in the 77th minute. The game continued to be tightly fought. In the 82nd minute Lech Poznan scored their second goal of the match thanks to a goal by F. Marcwinski. Despite the best efforts of the Djurgardens IF team, they could not score the second goal. Djurgardens IF continued to make substitutions: W. Edvardsen replaced J. Bergström in the 83rd minute, and J. Asoro replaced H. Radetinac in the same minute. Nevertheless, the game ended 2-0 in favor of Lech Poznan. The match was full of great soccer action and both teams deserve praise for their play. Lech Poznań's win puts them in a better position in the league, but it's only a minor setback for Djurgardens IF. They will have many more games in the UEFA Europa League, and they will have plenty of opportunities to regain their strength and show their best side.
