Everton's Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who missed his team's recent match against Nottingham Forest (2-2) due to illness, returned to the Toffees' starting lineup.
The 23-year-old did not appear in Everton's starting lineup for today's match against Brentford: he will start for the first time this season on the bench.
It should be noted that Mykolenko played 26 matches for Everton in all competitions in the season 2023/23, and in all these cases he found himself in the starting lineup. The Ukrainian has yet to produce any results, but he has three yellow cards on his record.
