According to talkSPORT, the Pelas bosses fear that their club will be drawn into a fight for survival, and therefore are thinking about parting ways with Vieira. The Frenchman took over the team in the summer of 2021. Last season, Vieira helped Crystal Palace finish in 12th place.

In the next three matches, Pelas will play against Arsenal, Brighton and Leicester.
