Shakhtar Donetsk defender Oleksandr Drambayev, who is currently playing on loan for Belgian side Zulte Waregem, commented on the appointment of Oleksandriya and Ukraine's youth national team coach Ruslan Rotan as acting head coach of the national team of Ukraine.
"I am sure that Rotan will succeed. Ruslan Petrovych is a great professional. He has formed good staffs in all teams. I think this is a balanced step on his part, and the people who believed in him supported him and joined his team.
Rotan is special because he knows exactly what kind of football he wants to play. He instills this in all his teams and can communicate it very clearly to each player. He is open 24/7. When someone does not understand something, you can approach Rotan - he will definitely explain everything and illustrate it clearly. Rotan's strengths are motivation and psychology. Everyone knows what kind of player he was. But few people realize what kind of leader he was in his teams. We can see it in the locker room - Ruslan Petrovych knows how to get you excited for a match so that you just want to play," Drambayev quoted "Ukrainian Football".
