"Barcelona plans to extend Xavi's contract

Barcelona's management is considering extending its cooperation with the team's head coach Javi Hernandez, Marca reports.

The Blaugrana president Joan Laporta is interested in signing a new contract with the 43-year-old specialist. The deal can be concluded by the end of this season. Xavi's current contract runs until the summer of 2024.
