A Marseille fan came to the club office demanding that the team's defender Leandro Balerdi leave the club. The fan went on hunger strike.

"He should never play for Marseille again. I deliver my message to the people of Marseille, no foul language, no insults. I want the team to have real players," RMC Sport quoted the fan as saying.

Argentine defender Balerdi was given a red card in a recent French league match against Strasbourg (2-2).
