Bayern Munich goalkeeper Jan Sommer made good on his promise to send 700 kilos of Swiss chocolate to teammate Matthias de Ligt for his brilliant save against PSG, according to German media reports.
Matteis de LigtSommer made a mistake and gave the ball to a PSG player, but de Ligt cleared it off the goal line. As a result, the Bavarians won 2-0 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Already in the locker room, the goalkeeper promised de Ligt a truckload of Swiss chocolate, and he kept his promise. After the photo shoot, the sweets were donated to a charity in Munich.
