With just seconds left in the first half, Haaland continued his scoring streak with another goal. This allowed Manchester City to take a confident position and lead 3-0 at halftime. In the second half, Manchester City continued with Ilkay Gundogan scoring his fourth goal in the 49th minute. In the 53rd minute, Haaland scored his third goal of the match and Manchester City's fifth goal with a magnificent strike.
As Manchester City continued to dominate, the coach made two quick substitutions, replacing Riyad Marez and Jack Grealish with Gundogan and Phil Foden in the 55th minute.
