Oleksandriya's central defender Vladyslav Babohlo received his debut call-up to the Moldovan national team. This is reported by the official website of the Moldovan Football Federation.

It is known that Babohlo, who previously played for the youth national team of Ukraine, was included in the application of the Moldovan national team for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and the Faroe Islands.

"I was approached by the national team coaching staff with an offer to play for Moldova. I talked to my family, my relatives and decided to accept the invitation. I talked to the head coach Serhii Kleshchenko, and we understood each other perfectly.

I want to thank the Moldovan Football Federation for giving me the opportunity to play for the national team and I want to promise everyone that I will give my best on the field in every match because I want to help the team.

Moldova is not a stranger to me. I was born here, I have many relatives here. Before the war in Ukraine, I used to come to Moldova quite often, to my native village of Kopchak," Baboglo said.
