Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy may leave the team in the summer transfer window, the Daily Mirror reports.
According to a source, the Blues bosses will be ready to listen to offers for Mendy's transfer. With the arrival of Graham Potter as Chelsea's head coach, Edouard Mendy lost his place in the starting lineup and is losing the fight to Kepi Arrizabalaga. We would like to add that the current agreement between Edouard Mendy and Chelsea runs until the summer of 2024.
It is interesting that Chelsea has already decided on understudies for Kepa Arrizabalaga. They will be young Gabriel Slonin and former Middlesbrough goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.
It will be recalled that Edouard Mendy was named the best goalkeeper of 2021 by FIFA.
