Former Donetsk Metallurg midfielder Djordje Lazic recalled how his team lost to Dynamo Kyiv 1:9 when Russian coach Tashuev was in charge.
Djordje Lazic (center)- We had a few players from the youth team. In addition, very quickly we were in the minority, when Denys Golaydo was sent off. Right after it Yarmolenko scored. However, our coach Serhiy Tashuev wanted to get back and we played openly. Almost every Dynamo attack ended in a goal.
In the locker room Tashuev calmed everyone down: "Nothing terrible has happened. We'll win at home. It's only three points". And indeed, it happened - Moraes did the double in the second round, and we won 2-1, - the Serbian recalled in an interview with Soccer 24.
