Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Oleksandr Hatskevych shared his thoughts on the current problems in his former team's game and gave a forecast for the fight for the prize-winning places in the Ukrainian championship in the 2022/23 season.

- Shakhtar are looking better than the other teams at the moment, although no one has a big lead in terms of points. The Donetsk team looks more interesting than Dnipro-1 and Dynamo. Zorya is playing good football, but lacks stability. Oleksandriya scored only four out of 12 points, and will probably already be solving other problems.
- What place can Dynamo expect?
- I don't see how Dynamo can improve. After Tsygankov's departure, Dynamo lost 40 percent of its offensive potential. In the zero game with Dnipro-1, the result was determined by Buyalsky's experience, skill and performance. Now Vitaliy missed the match with Zorya due to a suspension, and Dynamo are having a hard time with chances. They have no striker, Shaparenko is injured. Therefore, the defeat was the result of these problems. "Dynamo can only rely on their character and team spirit.
- But still, will Dynamo fight for silver and bronze or will it be able to challenge for the championship?
- Dnipro-1 has more potential in the attack thanks to Pykhalenko and Dovbyk, but as the game against Dynamo showed, they are not in optimal condition right now. Plus, Dnipro-1 has a lot of legionnaires who need time to adapt. Yes, the Dnipro team took experienced players from Metalist, but it's not that they will become leaders - it's more about the length of the bench.
"Dnipro-1 is six points ahead of Dynamo, and potentially 9 points ahead, but they still need to win the postponed match. And, judging by the team's recent games in European competitions and the league, they are not very effective either. Therefore, things are not so bad for Dynamo, but the Kyiv team needs to jump above their heads.
There is still a lot of talk about Dynamo's youth, but at the moment these youngsters are not capable of solving the problems in the fight for the championship.
