On Tuesday, the Ukraine national team held its first training session in London in preparation for the qualifying match Euro 2024 with England, which will be held next Sunday, March 26 in the capital of England. All the players, except for English Bournemouth defender Ilya Zabarny, took part in the training session.

Zabarny accompanied by the Bournemouth doctors who discussed the player's current physical state with Ukrainian colleagues arrived at the Ukraine national squad. The experts concluded that despite the positive dynamics of recovery, Zabarnyi's current form does not allow him to play on a high level.
Given the risk of repeated injury, the doctors of both teams decided to give Ilya a full rehabilitation, so that in the future he could help the national team and the club for a long time. As a result, Zabarny left the national team on Monday.
We should add that Andrii Yarmolenko, the captain of the Ukraine national team, who also has not fully recovered from the injury, is still training individually. Doctors of the Ukrainian national team are closely watching him, the decision on his participation in the game with England will be made later.
