On March 22, Oleh Kuznetsov, a football player for Dynamo Kyiv in the 1980s, three-time USSR champion and winner of the 1986 Cup of Cups, turns 60. Ihor Surkis, the president of FC Dynamo Kyiv, congratulated the hero of the day.
Dear Oleg Vladimirovich!
On behalf of the entire Dynamo community, let me congratulate you on your anniversary.
Having once joined Dynamo as a young promising footballer, you became the main performer in the responsible position of central defender in the team that won trophies both in the domestic and international arenas for many years. Thanks to your hard work, versatility, and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of the team's results, you were loved and respected by Kyiv fans.
Having completed your playing career, you embarked on a difficult coaching path. As a member of Oleg Blokhin's coaching staff, you contributed to the highest achievement of the Ukrainian national team since independence - you led our national team to the quarterfinals of the World Cup. And for the past 13 years, you have been sharing your vast experience by working with the youth national teams of Ukraine and preparing players for the national team.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, family comfort, success in working with promising Ukrainian football players, and I wish all of us a speedy victory over the common enemy and life in a peaceful, independent Ukraine.
Sincerely yours,
Ihor Surkis, President of FC Dynamo Kyiv
