Analytical company Sportradar, which collects and analyzes sports data and is a partner of FIFA and UEFA, has published statistics on match-fixing (in all sports) in 2022.
According to the data, the number of suspicious matches last year increased by 34% and reached a new record high - 1212 matches.
In this case, the leader in the number of "rigged" matches is Brazil, where 152 such matches were recorded during the year. Second place went to Russia, which had 92 cheating matches. The Czech Republic brings the third place in the rating of countries with the highest number of rigged matches - 56 suspicious matches.
It is noteworthy that Ukraine is not even in the top 10.
