Cristiano Ronaldo: "The Portuguese national team is going through a positive period"

Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo shared his first impressions of working with the team's new coach Roberto Martinez.

- Our national team is going through a positive period. I feel that something mysterious and positive is waiting for us. The intensity at training is very good, it is different. I am confident that we will successfully qualify and that Portugal will be a team with a more attacking style of play.

Training under Martinez has become very dynamic, there are not so many stops. We are always on the move, and I like it because I am the same way in life.

I love playing for the national team, and as long as they see me as a valuable player, I will always give my best. This is my home, and I feel very good here. I'm in optimal shape and ready to play. I feel prepared," said Cristiano Ronaldo.
