In the first round of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, the Swedes lost to Belgium (0: 3), Zlatan came on as a substitute in the second half, but failed to score. Thus, the forward became the oldest player (41 years and 172 days) to ever play in a Euro qualifying match. The previous record belonged to Dino Dzoff (41 years and 3 months).
"I want to keep playing football. Of course, if my physical condition allows, this will be my priority. I feel very good in Milan. I would be happy to stay if they want me to," Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Ibrahimovic on Twitter.
