The British were quite restrained in their emotions regarding Ukraine. Many were surprised by such a weak performance of the guests, no one could understand why the Ukrainians could not make a single shot on goal, because Ukraine has many good players in the attacking line. The English were sure of their victory, but few could have guessed that it would be so easy and certain. There were also jokes about the low level of play of Ukraine, which some compared to Malta and asked which of these teams would finish higher in the qualifying tournament.

Ofenboch: On paper, Ukraine has a good composition. Zinchenko represents Arsenal, Mudryk from Chelsea, Mykolenko from Everton, Malinovsky from Marseille, even Yaremchuk represents Club Brugge, who played in the Champions League playoffs. But I didn't see any team action. As if everyone played their own football. It was a very easy win for England.

IceCream: I think that even Malta will be more difficult to play. I thought that Ukraine would cause us problems and the match would turn out to be intense, but in reality the game was more like a training or control game, when the team simply plays some tactical schemes and does not focus on the final result.

Pinkus: The Ukrainians were kind of scared. It seems that they have a lot of strong players in their lineup, but they played like children who were forced to play against grown men. None of the Ukrainians did well. Even Zinchenko, who is praised so much this season, played very poorly. I am already silent about Mudryk, everything is clear to me with this guy, he will not play for Chelsea.

Boulton: After this match, it's clear to me. England will easily take first place. The Italians will be second. North Macedonia will take third place, they are for some reason underestimated by many, and for good reason. The main intrigue is whether Ukraine can overtake Malta? This is, of course, irony. But the game of the Ukrainians really makes a very gloomy impression. And I don't think it's a matter of war.

Ross: I think it was the easiest match for England in the last one and a half to two years. The final result can be deceiving, as England could have scored three times more and Ukraine did not have a single chance in front of our goal in the entire 90 minutes.

Simpson: This team has fantastic potential. After two goals, we stopped and acted calmly, as if we did not want to destroy Ukraine. But the quality of the game, possession of the ball was at the highest level. Closed all zones in defense. Ukraine did not score a single shot on goal. And this despite the fact that the attack is their strongest point. I think it was the perfect match for Gareth Southgate. We may have won only 2-0, but the game was simply incredible.

Amen: I don't want to offend the Ukrainians, but they put on their pants even before the starting whistle. It's been a long time since I've seen such an advantage from England in a match against a mid-level team. When you play against Malta or San Marino, you understand that the opponent simply does not know how to play football. But why did Ukraine play so badly? The war has been going on for more than a year, I don't think that was the point.

Reyad: It seems to me that the Ukrainians burned out even before the start of the match. I don't know why and because of what, but this is the only logical explanation. They have a lot of good players, but the best player today was the goalkeeper. If it were not for him, the score would have been devastating. And this despite the fact that England frankly did not stress today.

Yanni: I think that after the draw, Ukraine has come to terms with the fact that it will not be able to get to the Euros, because with such a game, it had no chance to overtake Italy, and even more so, England. Probably, that's why they played so badly, because they didn't believe in themselves.

Noed: Ukraine played without a coach, here is the result. They invited some guy who said he couldn't refuse the football federation. It seems that they are waiting for a new coach in the summer. I don't know if I've ever heard such stupid stories before. If I had been told this not long ago, I would not have believed it. Why appoint a coach for one match? What can you expect from him? Ukrainians themselves gave us this victory.

Chaos: I don't know how the players of the Ukrainian national team will look the fans in the eye after this? Ukrainians live in my house, wonderful people. I know how much they were waiting for this match, how they were preparing. The children were painted in yellow and blue colors, t-shirts, flags... For them it was a real holiday, for 90 minutes they seemed to have returned to those times when everything was good. I saw the tears of a little boy who was upset after this defeat. It is clear that Ukraine would still lose. But today she didn't play for this boy, she didn't play for all the Ukrainians who got to the match. I'm sorry, but Ukraine let all these people down because it didn't show character. This is the first time I have seen such a loose and characterless team at Wembley.

Snowball: Ukraine can be proud of the fact that they lost 0:2 England could have scored 5-6 today but made the visitors feel sorry for them. However, it no longer matters. England showed that they are the strongest team in the group. I can wish the Ukrainians good luck in the games against Italy, but to be honest, I don't believe in them. If they beat North Macedonia, that would be a success.

Faye: Did Ukraine take the field at all? Were they some boys in national team shirts? Sorry, but I can't imagine England not having a single shot on target against any opposition. Any of our coaches would have been kicked out of the national team after that. Ukraine failed this match, I would even say that they played better at the Euro when they lost 0:4.

Batchelor: It feels like Malta came out wearing the t-shirts of the Ukrainian national team. No sharpness in the attack, constant failures in the defense, strange tactical decisions. Against the background of such an opponent, even the youth team of England would have a formidable team.

Derrick: One goal game. Ukraine didn't just play badly, it almost didn't attack at all. I expected more from them. With such a game, Ukraine will be an outsider in the group. Even Malta will struggle, although they must beat such an opponent to avoid disgrace.

Jeff: It seemed to me that Southgate asked the team to slow down during the break so as not to humiliate Ukraine. We could realistically score 6-7 goals against such an opponent, if there was such a desire. But it seems to me that the final score does not really matter. The main thing is that they showed a really good game both in attack and defense.

Patil: Zinchenko, Mudryk, Malinovsky - where were all these players in today's match? Did they actually get on the field? Because I didn't see any strong player in the Ukraine squad. Instead, I saw many mediocre football players who played some strange and incomprehensible football, as if they themselves did not understand what to do on the field.

Malm: Six points after two matches against the main rivals in the group is an incredible result. Of course, no one doubted that England is currently one of the best teams in the world, but it is not always so easy to win such convincing victories against difficult and unpleasant opponents.

Griff: Mudryk has today reduced the price of millions by 10-15. He once again proved that he was overpaid. He will not show anything with such a game and will go on loan somewhere in the Netherlands or Belgium in the summer, as has happened many times before with Chelsea players who did not live up to expectations and never became stars.

Tilley: 2:0 is a gift to Ukraine, with which we now have a great friendship. It was noticeable that some of our players did not want to humiliate the Ukrainians and still score. But the coach was surprisingly calm. But still, I did not expect that Ukraine would turn out to be such a weak team.
