According to Bild, Bayern's locker room was divided into two camps: some supported the club's decision, while others were on Nagelsmann's side. Last week, Munich fired the 35-year-old coach and appointed Thomas Tuchel in his place.

While Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Joao Cancelo and Sadio Mane were among the players who did not like Nagelsmann's tactical approaches to the game, players such as Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Matthijs de Ligt, Daiot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavar wanted the coach to stay.
