he details of the recent illness of former Dynamo Kiev defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who now plays for English "Everton", due to which he missed one match of his current club.
According to a famous Ukrainian TV commentator Viktor Vatsko, the 23-year-old footballer suffered a severe form of coronavirus.
As a result, Mikolenko could not take part in the English championship match with Nottingham Forest, and in the two subsequent Everton games - with Brentford and Chelsea - he spent a total of only seven minutes on the field.
Apparently, his recovery after the illness has also affected the extent to which the defender was recently involved in the Ukraine national team matches. During sparring with Brentford B, Mykolenko played one half, and in the Euro 2024 qualifying match with England, although he came out in the starting lineup of the Ukrainian team, but was substituted on the 61st minute of the meeting.
It should be added that Mykolenko took part in 28 Everton games this season and failed to appear in the starting lineup of his team on only two occasions.
