he President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, speaking at the IOC Executive Committee in Lausanne, named the conditions for the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus in civilized international competitions:
- Athletes with Russian and Belarusian passports should compete only as individual neutral athletes;
- Teams of athletes with Russian and Belarusian passports may not be presented as participants in international competitions;
- athletes who actively support Russia's war against Ukraine may not compete; personnel actively supporting the war may not be invited to international competitions
- athletes who have contracts with Russian or Belarusian military organizations, national security services cannot compete in international competitions; the same applies to personnel
- any neutral athletes, as well as any other athletes, must meet all anti-doping requirements;
- sanctions for all those responsible for the war must remain in place.
