Girona Spanish midfielder Viktor Tsygankov told about the adaptation in his current club, shared his impressions of the Spanish championship, as well as touched on the conditions in which the Ukrainian championship now takes place.

I am a forward, and of course I like to score goals, but my main goal is to help the team to win, this is more important than my goals. I'm focused not on personal statistics, but on my contribution to the team's results, my help to the team. Although, of course, logically, if you score goals, you also help the team to win.
I try to be myself on the field and work hard at trainings. I think with that attitude to work you help the team. The head coach has a lot of individual conversations with me, he carefully explains what he wants me to do at my position. And so happens before every game, because each opponent is different, and we always use this as a basis for choosing the game plan.
As for the Spanish championship, this is the league of the highest level. Before joining Girona, I played only in the Ukrainian league, and I can say that everything is different here. Spain has a completely different, very good level, very good teams and quality players. And every match is unique. So I really like to play here.
The situation in Ukraine is a disaster for everyone. In Ukraine it is very difficult to play. Soccer without fans, in empty stadiums, while at every moment you are in danger because you do not know where exactly the next missile may fly.
