London striker Kai Havertz has backed his Ukrainian teammate Mykhailo Mudryk, who mostly sits on the bench.
"About ten players have come to Chelsea recently. And now it's not easy both for them and for the team. As for Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez, they came to us for big money, but they are only 22. And you can't expect them to start playing like Neymar right away. Everyone needs time," Havertz was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
It should be recalled, Mudrik joined Chelsea last winter from Shakhtar Donetsk for Euro 100 million. Since then, the Ukrainian has featured in seven matches for his new club, and so far he has only one assist.
