Barcelona head coach Xavi has agreed a new contract with the club, according to respected journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Xavi (photo: gettyimages.com)Xavi's current contract with the Catalans expires in the summer of 2024. The club have already prepared a new deal for the 43-year-old, but Xavi now wants to focus on the remaining games for the rest of the season and will sign a new deal in the summer, the source said.
Xavi has been in charge of Barcelona since 2021. After 26 rounds, the Catalans are leading with 68 points in the Spanish championship table, ahead of Real Madrid by 12 points.
