Thomas Tuchel, Getty Images— It was a shock. I had a strange feeling when I was driving to the training base. The meeting we had was unusual - and it turned out to be a very short meeting. It happened at or around 8 a.m. and lasted three to five minutes. I was in no mood to talk any longer.
The decision was lauded and honestly came as a shock to all of us. We felt that we were in the right place at the right time. We felt we could make great strides and we wanted to stay longer.
We had a great relationship between the staff. They are still like that. How long did it take me to get over it? It still hurts in some way that I can't see these people every day. I loved this job. I had a passion for this job, said Thomas Tuchel.
