The famous Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who now plays for Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia, could have ended up in London's Tottenham last year, according to the Daily Mail.
According to a source, Spurs president Daniel Levy and now former Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte have been discussing the option of inviting Ronaldo for a long time, but, in the end, they came to the conclusion that strengthening the team with a 38-year-old football player is the best transfer solution for the club.
Recall that Ronaldo moved to Al-Nasr in December 2022, having signed a contract with this club for 2.5 years with an annual salary of about 200 million euros.
