- Of course. We all know how aggressive Lviv teams always act, plus we understood that they will be in high spirits, as they managed to confidently beat Kryvbas in the last round. Accordingly, our boys were set up for a difficult match in order to repay the "debt" for that draw in Kyiv.
— Did the goal in the first minute affect the rest of the game?
- Yes, I helped. At the same time, well done guys, they played as we agreed - tactically competent, covered the flanks and the middle to prevent the opponent from organizing quick attacks. We also paid special attention to Roman Mykhailiv, a creative player who played for our team, but we did not allow him to show his best qualities. And we managed to level all the short passes of our opponents due to the correct positioning of our players on the field.
— Today was a real benefit of Artem Slesary — two goals and an assist. Will today's performance give him confidence for further matches?
- This is what we always talk about with him. Today, he performed the maximum amount of work - both on offense and returning to defense. He is gradually gaining fitness, he has enough for two halves - just look at how he scored his second goal today, when he dragged the ball from his own half of the field. We always tell football players that without maximum dedication on the field, there will be no goals.
— Matkevich missed several rounds, Horbach was also absent today. What is the reason for their absence?
- Matkiewicz got 15 minutes of playing time today - he missed the last two weeks due to injury and we are glad to have him back as we will have a creative attack. As for Horbach, as a member of the youth national team, he suffered a cut on his head, he was stitched up, and today we did not even include him in the application.
