Former Manchester United defender Garry Neville commented on the sacking of Italian specialist Antonio Conte as head coach of London's Tottenham.

I've never understood the point of this meaningless confrontation. But the outcome is always the same: either the team's locker room simply gets tired of Conte's behavior, or Conte gets tired of the players. All this led to a mess in the team and the expected final.
So personally, it's no surprise to me that Conte left Tottenham that way. And now it will probably happen again, but for starters he will probably say he did a great job at Tottenham," the Daily Mail quotes Neville as saying.
