On Tuesday, April 4, the players of Dynamo Kyiv visited the wounded Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing treatment in Kyiv hospitals. Our players took with them gifts in the form of club merchandise, which they presented to the heroes of Ukraine.
Photo: fcdynamo.comFirst, the Kyiv residents talked to the soldiers of the Omega unit, which celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday. Our team captain Serhiy Sydorchuk took the floor. "I am a father of many children, and I would like to say thank you not only from Dynamo, but also from my family. My children can now come to their homeland and not be afraid only because of you. My whole family, all of us, are now walking on independent Ukrainian soil only because of you and your brothers. There are no words to describe our gratitude and your heroism for our country," Sergiy summarized. The soldiers received incredible emotions from Dynamo's congratulations and support on an important date for them.
Then the team went to the ward of wounded soldiers from the Azov regiment. Despite severe injuries, each of the soldiers maintains a fighting spirit and thinks positively. Many of them, who are physically able to do so, are going to return to the front and continue to defend Ukraine from Russian invaders.
