Former president of Olimpic Vladislav Gelzin commented on the re-election of UAF president Andriy Pavelko as a member of the UEFA executive committee.
"Watching the current events, once again I am convinced that our soccer life is in a catastrophic state and, unfortunately, continues its decline.
The voices of individual club managers, who publicly speak of the arbitrariness of Pavelko and his associates, remain isolated attempts to open the eyes of the soccer public on his activities.
There was a hope that people would be outraged by the outright mayhem of this man, clinging to the chair of the UAF with all his might.
However, no one cares about the facts of theft Pavelko and his company, the patronage of foreign outsiders who destroyed the judiciary, the persecution of anyone who disagrees, and even the fact of criminal prosecution.
With the silent consent of our soccer public compromised himself Pavelko re-elected to the UEFA executive committee.
It is shameful and sad that all this is happening with the tacit consent of the leaders and functionaries of the clubs.
Instead of stopping the lawlessness of Pavelko and his team, by their inaction they actually hand Pavelko a mandate to continue his criminal, having nothing to do with the development of soccer in our country.
This is not his victory, but the defeat of all Ukrainian soccer", Gelzin wrote on his Facebook page.
