"I just don't think Mudrik was ever needed by Chelsea. And now that they've spent so much money on him, they need to find a role for him in the team and make him work.
It's really hard, but at this early stage, I'm not really worried about it. From a player's perspective, he needs time to get used to English soccer, and we won't see the full effect from him until the start of next season," Jones wrote in his column on GiveMeSport.
