Lionel has surpassed Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 701 goals while playing for clubs in Europe. The 38-year-old Portuguese now plays outside Europe for Al-Nasr in Saudi Arabia.
Messi, 35, scored a total of 30 goals in 68 games for PSG, and before that he scored 672 goals in 778 games for Barcelona.
